With respect to the farms, these are located between 1,500 and 2100 m.sn.m of altitude, therefore it is a SHB (Strictly Hard Bean). In all of them, coffee is combined with the cultivation of other varieties of plants that serve as shade to the production of coffee and at the same time produce alternative products, these crops are avocado, poró, banana, banana, banana, oranges, pineapples and lemons.
Also used all the by-products of coffee processing such as brushwood and mucilage, which are given a composting treatment using bacteria and neutralizing acidity and then incorporated into the coffee plantations. They are located in the cantons of Tarrazú and León Cortés and are mentioned below.
